Slice of Life Challenge Day 31:

Oh my gosh! The last day of the Slice of Life Challenge is today! I can’t believe I’ve been able to do it. This will count as my last blog post during the week of March, but I don’t think I’ll blog very often after this because I’ve used most of my stories during the challenge. I’ll go back to making lists I guess. Luckily, shortly after, we get spring break, and I’m totally excited! I feel like spring break is too short though. We literally only get one week. At least two months after spring break, we get summer break! Which is a little less than three months of vacation/rest time. On the last day of February of during February, when my English teacher introduces us to the challenge, one student in my class said, “Whoever actually finishes the challenge, I’ll give them a piece of gum or more.”. Although it’s only a piece, I’ll do it for the challenge. Anyway, have a great April!

Slice of Life Challenge Day 30:

Today, I’m going to blog about my brother. If you saw my blog post on March 28, you probably already know that my brother is in college and has a dorm and only comes back during summer vacation and winter break (Christmas). He REALLY gets on my nerves a lot, but for some reason, I miss him. The house is so much louder when he’s here because he laughs at things that aren’t that funny, like cartoons and comedy movies, or just YouTube videos. He can get pretty annoying, but the house is quiet, and that’s really boring. He’s coming back on April 20th, so that’s good. Usually the first week when he comes back, he’s really nice, but then the next week, he’s gotten comfortable already.

Slice of Life Challenge Day 29:

My mom. My mom is very nice because, well, she’s a mom! She cooks, cleans, does my laundry, loves going on vacations, and sometimes she even cleans my room as a sweet surprise for me (but then gives me a conversation about cleaning my room more often)! My mom also buys me clothes and provides all my needs, incorporated with my dad. She’s a nurse, so whenever someone in the house gets sick, she knows what to do without searching online or calling a doctor. She only calls doctors if someone has been sick for over a week. She’s the best.

Slice of Life Challenge Day 28:

I don’t know how much my life would be really boring if I didn’t have my sister (or my brother, who’s in college and has a dorm, so I don’t see him often). We actually have lots of fun together, even though we fight sometimes, it turns out that the next five or ten minutes, my parents complain about how loud we are laughing. She actually can be annoying, but it’s usually when we are joking around. I actually love sitting next to her when we go to church, or when we go to the movies, or on roller coasters rides, and everywhere else. I actually love hanging out with my sister and I’m glad to admit that.

Slice of Life Challenge Day 27:

Happy last week of March! The last day of the Slice of Life Challenge is on Friday, and April starts on Saturday! I’ve been mostly scheduling my blog posts, only because I’m very lazy, and I don’t do a lot of work on the weekends. I have been doing these at home, but I schedule them, and I do it only on school nights. Anyway, after Friday, I’ll go back to doing what I regularly blog: stories that I haven’t said yet in this challenge. It will be kind of hard because I’ve used most of my great stories in the Slice of Life Challenge.

Slice of Life Challenge Day 26:

My favorite color is blue because it’s not a super girly color, and I’m not girly. I also like blue because when I wear blue, it will literally go with anything. Blue jeans can go with anything except for skirts, dresses, and shorts. Also, I just think it’s a great color and I love it. Sorry this SOL os short, but that’s most of the reasons why I like blue.

Slice of Life Challenge Day 24:

Why do people act so nice one day or moment, then the next day/moment, they’re so mean, stubborn, selfish, or just plain annoying? Or when people act differently around a person or group, but then when they hang out with another person or group, they act totally differently. Why do people act so differently? I know people have different personalities, but, just why? My friend acts so differently around other people, but to me, she acts so much different. Like when people act differently around parents to friends, or teachers to students. Well, I’m one of those people who act the same all the time.

Slice of Life Challenge Day 23:

Why does anything have to be a specific color? Like, why does the sun have to be yellow, and the moon to be white? Why does the sky have to be blue? Why can’t it be yellow or green? That would look pretty ugly though. Why do the windows have to be clear on the inside, when outside, it’s not that clear? Why is the world so confusing? Why do people have to earn money? Why do you pay stuff with money? Why do we have to sit on rugs even though chairs are invented? WHY WOULD A GUY RISK HIS LIFE TO TRY TO INVENT SOMETHING?! *cough, Benjamin Franklin. Anyway, I guess this is what’s called life.
